Tunisia
We visited Tunisia on the cheap. It was the time when we took out a mortgage. We wanted to go somewhere cheap and it was Tunisia. This place confirmed my conviction that Arab countries are not my cup of tea. Dirt all around (at the airport next to the runway, plastic bottles rolling around…) and I had the traveler’s diarrhea. I thought I would not survive the trip. I tried to prevent it by drinking strong spirits. The girls from Poland, who we met at the hotel, helped me because gave me some pills that worked, and I came back to life. It was the worst trip.
